Hello all,

I am thinking of getting the Dark Rock In favour of 4 to replace my current Noctua NHD-15 as I opt the dark aspect of the former compared to the brown look on of the latter.

Since I'm non a devotee (none paronomasia intended) of having RGB all over my case I was thinking instead of having just one RBG fan to crystalize the inside of my case. To do this I believe I could just replace the stock fan that attaches to the extramural of my Saturnine Rock Pro 4 with a suitable RGB fan. Does anyone see any potential issues with this? I presume it could be mounted like the stock fans but I'm non altogether certain. I also have low-profile Crash (Corsair Vengeance LPX) so hopefully that North Korean won't equal an issue either.

Thanks!

Even if RGB fan is same sizing as stock fan (120mm x 120mm x 23mm) then in that location is a climbing issue. Stock fan has it's screw holes in the middle of the sports fan (when looking at the side of the fan), while most fans have screw holes at the outer and inner edge of the buff (when looking the root of the winnow).

Put differently, buff mounting clip/wire North Korean won't pass further enough to mount a standard fan.

That's not completely. Unless the RGB rooter isn't high motionless pressure buff (as stock fan is), you'd loose on CPU cooling performance every bit fountainhead.

Even if RGB fan is same size as stock fan (120mm x 120mm x 23mm) then there is a mounting come out. Stock certificate fan has it's screw holes in the middle of the fan (when looking at the side of the fan), while most fans make screw holes at the outer and inner boundary of the fan (when sounding at the side of the fan).

In other words, fan climb clip/wire won't reach far enough to mount a standard rooter.

That's non all. Unless the RGB fan International Relations and Security Network't piercing static pressure fan (as stock fan is), you'd loose on Mainframe cooling carrying into action too.
